    DOMUS Promotion

    This project was the most important project I've ever done. I made a functional website for a real estate company. Since I had to start the entire website from zero and develop it by myself with no external help, this project has been my most challenging experience. From the visual design to the database conception, I touched every aspect of the web-development. This experience helped me a lot to improve my programming skills and my capacity to manage a project. The pressure to have to deliver a finished product ready to be used was also instructive.
    Another objective was to leave a website that could be ran by any employee when I would be leaving the company after 3 months. Indeed, since the company didn't have any IT service, it was necessary to be able to modify the website in a simple way.

    Students Social Media

    This project was early in my formation. As a group of 3 people, our mission was to start the creation of a social media that could allow students and professionals to communicate. The website was allowing professional companies to directly post job-ads on it. The purpose of the project was to facilitate graduating students to find a job by connecting them to professionals. This project helped me to improve my team working skills as it was my first group project. Teachers were more interested in conception than in results.

    Initiative Sport

    "Initiative Sport" is an institution organizing Beach Volleyball summer camp. I proposed my service as they needed a new website. Since they didn't need a complex website, I decided to use Joomla! which is similar to WordPress to improve my experience with CMS (Content Management System).

    About Me Design

    This design main goal was to show some elements of my personality and things that I like. I started with the french flag and the Effeil Tower on my forehead. I’m in fact french and it symbolizes the fact that I always think about my family and friends from there amd always keep in mind my country. I As a transition, I put different assets on my face to represent Japan. I’ve been in Japan for two weeks during the summer 2016 and that was my favorite trip. The world and the planes going towards these location shows the fact that I love to travel and discover new places/cultures. The last part is fully dedicated to Volleyball, specificaly OSU men’s volleyball team. I’m very proud to be part of this team will never forget how we became national champions.

    Logo Design

    I designed this Logo originally in black and white. I always loved the idea of negative space design that can represent two different images in one. With this design, I tried to create a logo with this negative space all in contrast. My goal was to design a logo for a design company. That’s why my logo had to be well shaped and simple, but smart. Since the company is selling service for design, the logo appearance is crucial to show clients they are competent. Why tiger-shark: I drew multiple ideas of logo before to find this one. When the idea of negative space came, I started to search for animals which have names composed of two animals (for example Tiger-shark or cat-fish). I indeed thought that I could draw these two animals in contrast with negative space on the same image.

    Ad Design

    This was the last photoshop assignment we had to do in class. For this assignment, we could make an advertisement for anything we wanted. If it seems nicer to work with more freedom, the fact to have so many options were challenging for me. Indeed, I had many ideas of advertisement for many products, but I was always trying to find a better one. I finally went for the Occulus Rift. I had many ideas, but many were impossible without a professional camera. That’s why I decided to create an image with a lot of shadow. I wanted to create the same effect that professional camera has when they only take in count the light of flash. It creates a sort of ‘black background’. I really liked this effect, so I tried to reproduce it on photoshop.

    Typography Design

    I This is my typography assignment created for the class. I decided to use my favorite quote from Oscar Wilde which is: ‘Wisdom is to have dreams big enough to not lose sight of them’. This sentence reminds me to believe in my dream at all time and that a dream is never too big. For this assignment, I tried to express different ideas for each word. I wrote wisdom with a completely different font than the other words. Indeed, I wanted it to look more handwritten because I believe wisdom is very human characteristic. Computer are smarter and smarter today wisdom is still only accessible by humans. I integrated the ‘Is’ inside the ‘BIG’ because it means ‘to be’ or ‘to be part of something’. I did it by changing the style of the layers.

Besides Computer Science, I'm a Volleyball player since I was 14. Volleyball brought me so much and it's now a big part of my life. As a varsity athlete, I lived awesome moments that I will never forget such as winning the National Championship in 2017 (pictures). Playing volleyball helped me to develop my sense of leadership and to handle the pressure. I also believe that being an athlete teach how to overstep limits and how to never surrender facing difficulties.

I started to play video games when I was 12 and never stopped. Video games give you the opportunity to explore or create infinite worlds. I love to play but I also love to create and conceptualize. One of my dreams is to create and develop a video game entirely.
